Espa\u00e7o de Exposi\u00e7\u00e3o Online Kaleidoscope representa uma etapa fundamental do projeto. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A plataforma foi concebida para criar um espa\u00e7o digital onde os recursos educativos e as obras art\u00edsticas produzidas possam ser livremente consultados e divulgados, tanto durante a implementa\u00e7\u00e3o do projeto como ap\u00f3s a sua conclus\u00e3o.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Os visitantes podem explorar e descarregar materiais, imprimir recursos para utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o em oficinas ou contextos educativos e conhecer os trabalhos criativos desenvolvidos ao longo do projeto. Os seus trabalhos ocupam um lugar central neste espa\u00e7o expositivo e permanecer\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis online durante, pelo menos, os pr\u00f3ximos cinco anos. Isto permite que as obras alcancem um p\u00fablico muito mais vasto e tenham uma longevidade muito superior \u00e0 de uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o tradicional. Embora os participantes continuem a ter a oportunidade de ver os seus trabalhos expostos em festivais de arte e eventos locais, a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o online permite que estes sejam tamb\u00e9m descobertos e apreciados por pessoas em qualquer parte do mundo. A A vis\u00e3o inicial passava pela cria\u00e7\u00e3o de uma exposi\u00e7\u00e3o art\u00edstica em realidade virtual (RV), que permitisse aos visitantes percorrer o espa\u00e7o utilizando uma plataforma como a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.artsteps.com\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Artsteps<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Apesar do conceito apresentar um forte impacto visual, o feedback recebido e os testes realizados demonstraram rapidamente que alguns utilizadores consideravam a experi\u00eancia pouco intuitiva e dif\u00edcil de navegar. Foram tamb\u00e9m levantadas quest\u00f5es relacionadas com a acessibilidade. Posteriormente, foi proposta uma segunda abordagem pelo cons\u00f3rcio Kaleidoscope, inspirada na estrutura e organiza\u00e7\u00e3o dos websites de museus e galerias de arte. Para isso, foram utilizadas como refer\u00eancia plataformas j\u00e1 consolidadas, como a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nga.gov\/artworks\/free-images-and-open-access\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">National Gallery of Art<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> e o <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Metropolitan Museum of Art<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> for inspiration.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">O design final \u00e9 significativamente mais intuitivo e acess\u00edvel, permitindo aos visitantes encontrar rapidamente cole\u00e7\u00f5es, recursos e informa\u00e7\u00f5es sobre o projeto, sem se sentirem sobrecarregados pela navega\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A acessibilidade constituiu igualmente uma prioridade ao longo de todo o processo de desenvolvimento. A plataforma integra uma ferramenta de acessibilidade em conformidade com as diretrizes WCAG, concebida para ajudar os utilizadores a adaptar o website \u00e0s suas necessidades individuais. The platform has been designed to create a digital space where educational resources and produced artwork can be freely accessed and showcased during and beyond the lifespan of the project.\u00a0 Visitors can explore and download materials, print resources for workshops or classrooms, and engage with the creative works developed throughout the project. This space has been created to support youth workers, educators, artists, young people and communities, encouraging creative expression, participation and intercultural exchange. One of the most important aspects of the platform is its role in showcasing the artwork created by the young people involved in Kaleidoscope. Their work is at the centre of the exhibition space and will remain available online for at least the next five years. This gives the artwork a much wider audience and a much longer life than a traditional exhibition alone could offer. While participants will still experience their work being displayed at local arts festivals and events, the online exhibition means it can also be discovered and enjoyed by people anywhere in the world. That sense of reach and visibility is incredibly valuable, particularly for our young artists who may never have had the opportunity to share their work internationally before. The development of the Online Exhibition Space is an ongoing process, and as it has gone through successive rounds of testing, the approach has evolved along the way. The original vision was to create a VR art exhibition that would allow visitors to walk through the space using a platform such as Artsteps. While the concept looked visually impressive, feedback and user testing quickly revealed that some visitors found the experience disorienting and difficult to navigate. Concerns were also raised about accessibility. A second idea was suggested by the Kaleidoscope consortium, and imagined the layout to resemble that of an art museum or gallery website. Drawing on pre-existing platforms such as the National Gallery of Art and the Metropolitan Museum of Art for inspiration. The final design is much easier to navigate, allowing visitors to quickly find collections, resources, and project information without feeling overwhelmed. Accessibility was also a major priority throughout development. The platform includes a WCAG-compliant accessibility tool designed to help users adapt the website to suit their individual needs. Visitors can adjust settings such as text size, contrast, and readability features, making the site more inclusive and easier to use for a wider range of people.\u00a0 What makes the Kaleidoscope Online Exhibition Space particularly valuable is that it is both an active resource and a constantly evolving one, designed to continue supporting creativity and learning long after the project ends, and adapting to the needs and feedback of its users.
